In the third edition of Permanente Beunruhigung (or Permanent Disturbance), a collaborative project at Ballhause Naunynstrasse (an independent theatre in Berlin), four performers from Egypt, India, Germany and Uganda were thrown in together. We had a few days to create a performance and doa s short run of it. The themes that emerged in the work in progress were home, the past, the colonial past, the person and the performer that travels.

The performers were varied: An experimental violinist, a spoken word performer, a theatre- maker and a contemporary dancer.
